Class Descriptions

Hatha Yoga
This all-levels class will suit beginners to more
advanced students. Traditional yoga poses and
breathing techniques will be taught to improve
health, strength, and flexibility, while decreasing
symptoms of stress and anxiety. Through
the practice of yoga you can develop a more
balanced life through increased body awareness
and peace of mind.


Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa flow is a style of yoga with prominence on power.  Students will learn to connect their breath with the pose, but never sacrifice the breath for the pose.  Each student is offered a yoga practice they can make their own, creating inner strength, balance, and peace.

Gentle Yoga

(not currently a scheduled class)
This class is well suited for the beginner, or for those who enjoy a slow paced relaxing class. Gentle stretches and basic yoga postures are taught, along with yoga breathing, and relaxation techniques.

Intermediate Yoga
(not currently a scheduled class)
Those who are ready to take the next step in their yoga practice should take intermediate yoga. This class is focused on building strength through pose variations, and adding definition to the asana practice. Please feel free contact the studio to discuss if this class is for you.

Private Yoga Session
These sessions are designed to meet your individual
need. One might take private classes
are to learn the basics of yoga before entering
a group class, or to deepen their current practice.
Other reasons may be to focus on a specific
ailment or to learn poses that will provide
a compliment to another specific interest such
as running, horseback riding, cycling, skiing,
etc. Please contact to inquire about rates and
packages for private classes.



Prenatal Yoga
Mother’s-to-be will learn yoga postures,
breathing, and relaxation techniques to carry
them through all stages of pregnancy. Postures
will build flexibility and strength for
the changes in a new mother’s body and help
to prepare for labor, delivery, and recovery.
Students may enter classes at any trimester,
although it is recommended to begin early in
pregnancy.


Postnatal Yoga
(not currently a scheduled class)
New mothers will learn yoga techniques to
help their bodies recover from pregnancy,
labor, and delivery. Breathing and relaxation
techniques are taught to help the transition of
being a new mom flow smoothly and naturally.
A community where you can meet other new
moms is a bonus! Newborns welcome!


Kids Yoga
(not currently a scheduled class)
Children will learn yoga in an engaging
and interactive way that will increase their
strength and flexibility. They will learn yoga
poses, breathing techniques, and meditation
through visualization activities that they can
use in their every day lives! Classes involve
individual, partner and group activities that
will help build concentration, develop body
awareness and give them the tools to increase
relaxation.


Toddler and Preschool Yoga
These classes help to deepen the parent child
bond and playfully relieve stress and frustration.
Children will improve body-awareness
and increase their attention span all while nurturing
self-esteem and creativity. These classes
provide an outlet for social interaction and
help to build a fit, healthy lifestyle. Parent’s
must attend toddler classes. Parent attendance
at preschool classes optional.


Family Yoga 
Incorporating the ideas of kids yoga, this class is structured to provide yoga and mindfulness practices that parents and children can do together. This is a fun, creative way to interact with your family members in a positive, safe environment while learning effective techniques for social emotional and physical health.
